Bagna cauda 3-Peasant Style

6 ansjovisfilets op olie

1/2 cup olijfolie

1/4 cup boter

6 gekneusde tenen knoflook

2 lepels brandy

1 ¾ ounces sardinen op olie

peper



Rauwe groenten om te dippen:

paprika

venkel

selderijstengels

radijs

koolblad

andijvie

bosui

Bereiding

Place the anchovies in a small saucepan and mash the fillets with a wooden spoon.

Add the oil, butter and garlic and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Add the brandy, black pepper and sardines with their oil..

Gently cook and stir the mixture for 5 minutes more to break up the sardines.

Serve warm with assorted vegetables and bread for dipping.
