BereidingPlace the anchovies in a small saucepan and mash the fillets with a wooden spoon.Add the oil, butter and garlic and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Add the brandy, black pepper and sardines with their oil.. Gently cook and stir the mixture for 5 minutes more to break up the sardines. Serve warm with assorted vegetables and bread for dipping. |
