All-American pork ribs

3 pounds pork loin back ribs or spareribs

1 cup cider vinegar

3/4 cup chili sauce

1 medium onion, finely chopped

3 tablespoons packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon steak sauce

1 teaspoon chilipowder

1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (or to taste)



3 pounds varkensvlees of spareribs

1 cup ciderazijn

3/4 cup chilisaus

1 ui

3 lepels bruine suiker

2 lepels worcestershiresaus

1 lepel steak saus

1 thl chilipoeder

1 thl hot pepper saus

Bereiding

Place ribs in center of cooking grate. Grill 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine vinegar, chilisauce, onion, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, steaksauce, chili powder, and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sauce will thicken slightly. Brush ribs with sauce during the last 20 minutes of grilling time. To serve, cut ribs into 2- or 3-rib portions. Serve with remaining sauce.
