Kip chow-mein uit de wok

175 g eiernoedels

1 lepel zonnebloemolie

1 dungesneden ui

2 dungesneden tenen knoflook

1 cm gemberwortel, dun gesneden (eventueel)

100 g taugeh

100 g mangetout (in de lengte gehalveerd) of erwten

175 g gare kip, in stukken gescheurd

1 lepel sojasaus

1 lepel zoete chilisaus

Bereiding

1. Cook the noodles in a large pan of boiling, salted water according to the packet instructions.

2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the onion over a high heat for 2-3 minutes until beginning to brown. Add the garlic, ginger (if using), beansprouts and mangetout or peas and stir-fry for 1 minute.

3. Drain the noodles well and add to the wok with the chicken and soy sauce; cook for 2 minutes until piping hot. Stir in the sweet chilli sauce and serve immediately.
