Chili Paneer

Paneer 250 g

2 red chillies (crushed)

2-3 green chillies (crushed)

1 theelepel gemberpasta

1 theelepel knoflookpasta

1 theelepel asem/tamarindepulp

1/2 theelepel sojasaus

1 medium ui finely chopped

2 theelepels maïzena

1 Eetlepel olie

zout to taste

Bereiding

Cut Paneer into 1 inch cubes and fry/bake as desired.

Heat olie in a wok and fry uien till slightly brown. Add ginger-knoflook paste, crushed chillies and soya saus. Saute for a minute. Add a little water to make some gravy and zout to taste.

Add asem/tamarindesap pulp.(proportion can vary depending upon sour taste).

Finally add maïzena dissolved in a little water to thicken gravy. Let it boil till thick enough to your liking.

Just before serving, put in Paneer cubes and give it one boil.

Notities

Can be served with Chinese gebakken rijst or with Paratha and regular rijst.
